Healthcare

There are no feasible solutions to healthcare when the federal government pours 20 billion dollars into Kentucky’s healthcare system. Certainly, I believe healthcare is simply a supply and demand calculation. If we only have 18,000 hospital beds for 4.5 million people, then healthcare costs will remain high. Consolidation of independent doctors into hospitals also seems to be a monopolistic function of our current healthcare administration that drives up costs. But again, there are no solutions worth jeopardizing 20 billion in federal funds. It seems like they are out of money at 38 trillion dollars in debt, but we keep getting the checks.
